Dongjing Music in Yunnan, China vol.2: Dongjing used to be a wide-ranging Chinese folk music though it was eventually forgotten even its birthplace of Zhongyuan, and was preserved only in the southernmost mountains of China. In this Confucian ceremonial music, the sounds of vancient China which were all but lost long ago can be clearly heard. This album features amall ensembles of stringed instruments and flute.
