Klenengan Session of Solonese Gamelan vol.1: The Core of Java Gamelan is from two royal families, Surakarta and Mangkunegaran both in Soro. The National Broadcasting Company (R.R.I) Orchestra is composed of selected musicians from these families. They use renowned musical instruments made in the 19th Century and inherited by the Surakarta royal family: Kyai Kadumanis in Pelog Scale and Kyai Manisrenggo in slendro Scale.
